Brief History of the Linde

With the ever-changing tides of the centuries leaving their clear mark on the LINDE, this country inn stands today as a precious gem of Austrian hospitality, a place whose goal is a careful blend between tradition and the expectations of today's guest.

As early as the year 911, we discover documentation of  this house as an administrative building affiliated with the nearby castle.  In 1506, the LINDE was awarded a tavern license.

Located in the midst of the magnificent alpine world of the Ziller Valley, the LINDE offers its guests outstanding gastronomic quality, combined with the unmistakable ambience of one of the oldest inns in Tyrol - exclusive and clearly a cut above the rest.
