can reach us.

By plane

Once you have arrived at the airport in Innsbruck (approx. 60 km away), Munich (approx. 180 km away) or Salzburg (approx. 160 km away), you can continue by taxi, shuttle, public transport or rental car. Depending on where you land and the choice of transportation, the onward journey will take between one and two hours. Should you have any questions, you can contact us for further information.

By train or bus

If you plan to arrive by public transport, you can either take a train to Jenbach (most long-distance trains stop at the station in Jenbach, otherwise you may have to get off in Innsbruck – if coming from the west – or in Wörgl – if coming from the east) and then continue by bus or train. After reaching the Zillertal valley, it will take another 30 minutes to get to Stumm. Our Landgasthof is about 1 km from the station “Kaltenbach-Stumm”. The “Stumm Zentrum” bus stop is a mere 200 m away and can be easily reached by foot. Should you arrive by train, we are happy to arrange for a transfer from the train station.

By car

If you are planning to arrive from Innsbruck, follow the A12 Autobahn heading east (towards Munich/Salzburg). Coming from Salzburg you first follow the Autobahn towards Munich and then towards Innsbruck/Brenner. Take the “Zillertal” exit, follow the signs to Zillertal/Stumm and drive for about 20 minutes through the Zillertal valley. Once you have reached Stumm, you will find us in the centre of town. In addition to plenty of parking you will find several e-charging stations outside our restaurant.
